Pradera de agua de Valley Road

A good place to start is the Vale pub. The path goes through a residential street ( Ribblesdale road) through a twitchel to valley road. Take a route through a small park entering one gate and exiting through the other. Walk past the bowling greens and turn left onto a path which goes down the side of the greens. Halfway along take a gate on your right and enter the water meadows. If you are lucky you will see Herons ! Follow the path to the stepping stones ( they are easy to navigate ). Exit the park and negotiate the crossings to cross Mansfield Road. The route goes up hill for a while through leafy Woodthorpe before dropping down again to your starting point. l do this route in either direction with variations. It is a flat route for this area.
