Livingston South railway station is one of two railway stations serving Livingston in West Lothian, Scotland. It is located on the Shotts Line, 14 miles (23 km) west of Edinburgh Waverley on the way to Glasgow Central. It is managed by Abellio ScotRail, who provide all train services.The town of Livingston also has another railway station, Livingston North, on the North Clyde Line.

Murieston (From Muir (moor) of Houstoun) is a district on the southern edge of Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. The district lies on both sides of Murieston Water which is flanked by public parkland. The A71 road forms the northern boundary of the district which is notable for having a very good primary school.

Bellsquarry is a small area in the south of Livingston next to Murieston, Scotland. Like Livingston Village and Livingston Station, it became part of Livingston when the town was built in 1962. Bellsquarry still has a village hall and old buildings, however, there are no shops. The area has several fields surrounding it.

Newpark railway station was a railway station serving Newpark near Bellsquarry in West Lothian, then called Linlithgowshire. It was on the Cleland and Midcalder Line between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Trains on the Shotts Line still pass through the site of the former station.
