Regionalpark Brushy Peak

One of our favorite areas to hike in the bay area. We absolutely love hiking the Brushy Peak Trails. One of our favorite trails in the bay area. This trail is considered moderate but I'm thinking maybe moderate hard? I feel like this trail was a little harder than the trail we hiked a few weeks ago that was rated hard. The hike starts with an incline once you get through the gate. Uphill you go lol We started at 8am which is late for us but the gates do not open til 8am. It's a good thing it was not too hot today or we would have been miserable. There is no shade so bring plenty of water. It took us a little over 2 hours to finish the hike...not bad considering we stopped a few times to take pictures. The hillside was brown due to the season...come winter this place will be lush and green ....absolutely beautiful. We don't normally like to hike the same trails more than once but we will definitely hike this trail again. This app unfortunately does not record the inclines and elevation so it does not record accurately
