Pike Island - Brücke zu Brücke. 3,06 Meilen

State park pass needed as pike island is within fort Snelling state park. Beautiful trail , not as busy as u might think. Clay and sand packed nicely. Enter park at post rd. Off of hey 5 , near airport. Go all the way to other side of fort Snelling and park by visitor center, take trail from lot, take left, go over small bridge and begin oval shaped trail from either side. Straight but also some mild undulations to keep yer heart up. 50-60 minute walk. Deer, heron, beaver, bald eagles and hawks.
