Shevchenko Park

Museum of Western and Oriental Art in Kiev, also known as the Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko Museum of Art (Ukrainian: Музей Мистецтв ім. Богдана та Варвари Ханенків) is the largest collection of foreign art in Ukraine.During the Soviet times, the museum ranked the third in the USSR by the value and size of its collection after The Hermitage in Saint Petersburg and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.

Shevchenko University or officially the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukrainian: Київський національний університет імені Тараса Шевченка), colloquially known in Ukrainian as KNU (Ukrainian: Київський національний універcитет - КНУ) is located in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. KNU is ranked within top 550 universities in the world.

The Red University Building (Ukrainian: Червоний корпус Київського університету; translit.: Chervonyi Korpus Universytetu) is the principal and oldest 4-story building of the Kyiv University located at 60 Volodymyrska Street, in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. This building is a worldwide famous symbol of the Kyiv University and the Ukrainian fundamental higher educational system.

The Maksymovych Scientific Library — the main scientific library of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The library is located in Kiev, Volodymyrska str., 58 near the Red building of the University of Kyiv. The library was founded together with the University in 1834.
