Cimarron 5 km

Medium difficulty 5km/3miles Steady incline leading up to the Franklin Mountains. Start at corner of Resler and Paseo del Norte, head north to Northern Pass and turn right to head up the hill. Keep going until the street turns into Paseo del Norte and head back down to the starting point. Turn around and head back up towards Paseo del Norte, turn at Cimarron Park until you get to Northern Pass. Turn left towards Resler and head back to the starting point. Very nice views of the mountain and the upper valley, especially during sunrise/sunset. There is some shade in the trail, accessible to strollers/wheelchairs. Good for families and dogs (on a leash).
