This is the top part of the trail running along the Confederate Line. Markers give a good history of how the line formed and actions that took place. The bottom piece of the trail (not included) is very weather dependent. The rangers advised not trying it when I was there. Relatively flat and quiet. A good, easy weekend hike. Mostly shaded.
