Verftsbrua (Norwegian for "Yard Bridge"), also popularly called Blomsterbrua ("Flower Bridge") is a bridge at the bay of Trondheim. The bridge, built in 2003, spans 125 metres. The name Verftsbrua comes from the nearby shipyard, Trondhjems mekaniske Værksted, while the name Blomsterbrua is due to the bridge being covered with many different kinds of coloured flowers.

Rockheim (also called Det nasjonale opplevelsessenteret for pop og rock, The National Discovery Centre for Pop and Rock, and Det nasjonale museet for populærmusikk, The National Museum for Popular Music) is Norway's national museum for popular music from the 1950s to the present. It is a division of Museene i Sør-Trøndelag (Sør-Trøndelag Museums) and is housed in a former grain warehouse in Trondheim.

'Helgeseter Priory or Elgeseter Priory (Elgeseter kloster) was a medieval era house of Augustinian Canons in what is now the neighborhood of Elgeseter in Trondheim, Norway.

Brattøra is an artificial island in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. The 0.485-square-kilometre (120-acre) island is located at the mouth of the river Nidelva just north of the city centre (Midtbyen), west of Nyhavna, and south of Trondheimsfjord. There is a canal that divides the mainland from what is now the island of Brattøra.

The name comes from Helgeseter, the name of Helgeseter Priory, an Augustinian abbey located at Elgeseter during the Middle Ages.

The Skansen Tunnel (Norwegian: Skansentunnelen) is an immersed tube underwater tunnel in the city of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. Part of Norwegian National Road 706, it runs from Brattøra to Ila. The tunnel is 510 meters (1,670 ft) long and opened on 27 May 2010.

Singsaker is a neighbourhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Midtbyen. It is located north of the neighborhood of Moholt, east of Gløshaugen, west of Tyholt and Rosenborg, and south of Bakklandet. The area consists almost completely of suburban housing, despite being quite close to Midtbyen, the city center of Trondheim.

The Student Society in Trondheim (Norwegian: Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem, Samfundet for short) is Norway's largest student society.Besides housing a café, a restaurant, several bars and frequently hosting concerts and other activities (among them Norway's biggest culture festival, UKA), it is an independent organization for all students and teachers in Trondheim, owned fully by its members.
