Crimean walk

Yevpatoria-Kurort (Russian: Евпатория-Курорт, Ukrainian: Євпаторія-Курорт) is a railway station in Yevpatoria, Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine, but de facto under control and administration of Russia.

The 2008 Yevpatoria gas explosion took place on December 24, 2008 with an explosion in an apartment block in Yevpatoria, a Ukrainian Black Sea resort town. Within hours, the death toll stood at 22 with 10 missing. On December 26 the total number of deaths was 27 people. President Viktor Yushchenko declared December 26 to be a day of national mourning.

Zaozerne (Ukrainian: Заозерне; Russian: Заозёрное, romanized: Zaozyornoye) is an urban-type settlement in the Yevpatoria municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. Population: 4,332 (2014 Census); 4,161 as of the 2001 Ukrainian Census, and 4,940 in 2011.
