Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a large museum in Pudong, Shanghai, close to Century Park, the largest park within the inner districts of the city. It is one of China's most-visited museums.

It features the large underground AP Plaza shopping mall.The station is linked directly to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, and is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from Zhongshan Park to Longyang Road that opened on 20 September 1999.

Yingchun Road (Chinese: 迎春路) is a station under construction on the future Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Jinxiu Road and Minsheng Road in Pudong, Shanghai, the station is scheduled to open with the rest of phase one of Line 18 in 2020. The station is named after the nearby Yingchun Road, which intersects Minsheng Road one block north of the station.
