The Old Summer Palace, known in Chinese as Yuanming Yuan (圆 明 园; 圓 明 園; Yuánmíng Yuán; 'Gardens of Perfect Brightness'), and originally called the Imperial Gardens (御 园; 御 園; Yù Yuán), was a complex of palaces and gardens in present-day Haidian District, Beijing, China. It is 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) northwest of the walls of the former Imperial City section of Beijing.

Beijing 101 Middle School (Chinese: 北京市一零一中学 or 北京市101中学 or simply 101, Pinyin: Běijīng shì yī líng yī zhōngxué), also known as Beijing No.101 Middle/High School, is a coeducational public middle school for both boarding and day students in grades 7 to 12 (ages 12 to 18). The school is in Xiyuan, Haidian District of Beijing, half mile from Zhongguancun (Chinese: 中关村), the city's IT center.

Xiyang Lou (Chinese: 西洋楼; pinyin: Xīyáng Lóu; literally: 'Western mansion(s)'), are ruins of 18th-century European-style imperial buildings on the grounds of the Old Summer Palace in Beijing, China. They are located in the northern part of the Changchun Yuan (Garden of Eternal Spring), one of the three gardens which once made up the Old Summer Palace, and cover an area of about 7 hectares.

Yuanmingyuan Park Station (simplified Chinese: 圆明园站; traditional Chinese: 圓明園站; pinyin: Yuánmíngyuán Zhàn) is a station on Line 4 of the Beijing Subway. The station is located outside of the south entrance to the Old Summer Palace in Haidian District of Beijing, and immediately faces the Zhengjue Temple (正觉寺) to the north; the main campus of Peking University is to the south.
