Beauchemin Park Trail
Assiniboine River
Sasha made a friend along the way ❤️
Kelly Landing - Beautiful scenic views along the Assiniboine River. This is where people can take out their canoes if they’re able to get down towards the landing area. 🛶 It’s quite grassing with overgrown trees and such. A bit flooded out too. Not sure if it’s used much anymore. There’s another area along Southboine it’s a docking area that’s further up the road. It’s a steep climb down towards the rocky ground below. I’ve not attempted it myself yet. I’d like to one day. 🙂
Saw a little bunny along the way heading back towards home. 🐰
Walking the Beauchemin Park bridge towards home.
Almost home ❤️
My dog Sasha & me 💕 I’m trying to get her to pose. No such luck. 😄
Well this one is a little better. Ya she was determined to keep moving. Ma enough selfies! 🙄🐶😅

We took a lovely evening walk. Headed towards Beauchemin Park and walked the trails there walking towards the river bank. It’s mine and Sasha’s favourite part of the park. You can walk along the trail near the river in the spring time, but during summer it’s quite over grown. I’ve walked it with Sasha before. There’s some trees hanging low and on the ground. She had to walk under one and another I had to lift her over. Being it’s tick season I’d not suggest walking it with your dog. Walking it alone possibly, but with good coverage to avoid the wood ticks. Love walking the trails. I always feel at peace when I go there. Lovely area to visit. Especially for children. They have a playground for them. After the park we headed out towards Southboine. Lots of lovely homes along the river. We also visited Kelly Landing, which is also along the river bank as well. Love visiting this place. Once we finished viewing the area we walked some more down Southboine towards Barker. It’s a very long walk around if you walk the whole of Barker, which we did. We walked it until we finally came up towards Roblin Blvd then headed back towards home. We walked Roblin till we hit Paradise Drive heading back down towards Southboine again. It’s much quieter than walking Roblin with all the noisy traffic. Love the scenic views so much green everywhere lots of trees, which I love and I’d rather hear the birds chirping away than the noisy cars any day. Gives you the feeling you’re in the country even though you’re still in the city. That’s why I love the Charleswood area. So peaceful. Great way to end the night off. ❤️🐕🏃🏼‍♀️
