My healthy habit is a form of ancient Chinese mediatation called Qi Gong (chi-goong), which I’ve practiced each morning for the last couple of years or so.
It’s similar to t’ai chi, but slightly more focused on cultivating and raising energy (chi) rather than relaxation. My grandparents, who are Chinese/Singaporean, taught me about this practice when I was young. It’s fairly engrained in traditional Chinese culture as a way to get moving to start the day.
It massively helps me get my day off on the right foot and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an energy boost to kick start their mornings :)
