Another short late afternoon hike today because of the heat. But Mook stayed cool and got his frozen treat toy when we got back. And had some ice cream as well, and Mook always gets to lick the empty carton.. 😂 It so funny as he pulls his ears back like he\'s trying to fit his whole head in there... 🤣🤣

Another brutal hot and humid day. We waited later today but still couldn\'t beat the heat. Did another short hike and it was mostly just Mook in the water. But he DID actually SWIM today! Well sorry if anyway. I couldn\'t see his back legs but his fronts were definitely paddling away in deeper water! For Mook that\'s quite an achievement.😊 I think he might actually figure it out if he keeps trying.😂🐾🐾💦

We are in a heat wave for the next few days and I didn\'t think we were going to get our hike in today. But Mook was so bored in the house all day, (I was too), I figured we could try a short one and as long as he could cool off we would be ok. It was brutally humid, but late afternoon shade kept the trails a little cooler. We only did 2 miles and Mook spent most of the time in the water, but still managed to get some quick zoomies in too. Don\'t know how he does I\'m t, but I guess he just has to get them out... 😂

We made 100 days! 😁
