Passed by park as usual. Hot and humid despite mostly cloudiness but sunnier further east, making it feel hotter. 8/10 for the southeasterly breeze on the way back west.

Nice and quiet there but had to get to my car as I was running out of water in the dry heat

Had to go around the backroad today in that segment 2-3 miles west of Amsterdam bc the trail had ponding on it from the last two days of rain

Cloudy skies at 7pm ahead of showers an hour northwest. All good there today

A good weather day. A few bumps starting to appear between 1 and 6 miles west of Amsterdam (Lorenzo’s). This slows down the overall speed to go safely (15mph to 11mph). Horse #2 (p..p) observed 7 to 9 miles west of Amsterdam (Lorenzo’s) Repaving and cleaning by NYS for the trail recommended.
