So on Saturday I competed in my 2nd power lifting competition and I am super proud of myself. Age has never stopped me from doing whatever I wanted to in life and at the age of 53 competing along side women who are the same age as my daughters keeps me feeling young at heart. I PB on all 3 lifts Squat 75kg Bench 50kg Deadlift 120kg I’m already looking forward to the next comp which is in June and I am hoping to smash some those numbers above 💪🏻💪🏻

My youngest son and I spent the last week up in Rockhampton with my family as my dad turned 80 today. Heading back to Brisbane tomorrow but young Cooper wanted to stay another day or two as he doesn’t want to go back to school yet.

Finally getting some nice fruit and veggies from my little garden. If I didn’t rent and owned my own home my garden would be so much bigger. I am having trouble with little grasshoppers destroying my plants, I had a nice bunch of broccolini growing but they have almost eaten it all 😭 so if there is any green thumbs in the group can you give me some tips on how to get rid of them please.
