My kids are in town and love going to botanical gardens, so we ventured to Green Bay Botanical Gardens first a walk. Spring has been cold, so I haven’t been motivated to get back to the gardens to walk. However, today was a beautiful day. Trees bloomed almost overnight and everything is green.. There are many different birds singing in the trees, including a Baltimore Oriole. i’m going back to work full-time, but hopefully I could still get some walks in at the garden throughout the summer and fall again.

hello, I’m sorry, I didn’t renew the challenge. I have been searching for work and found a position that has a more walking in it than the last so between learning new things and the walking I’ve been doing I’m beat by the time I get home.. I’ll eventually figure this out and add walking back into my daily routine. Keep up the good work, everybody.

After watching the preparation of the lights go up, I finally got to walk the lighted path, which is about 1 mile. My kids joined me on the walk.

Hello Friends. What a beautiful day to walk here in Green Bay. Today’s walk was structured because the gardens are roped off with lights for the upcoming garden of lights walk. The path was soft & springy under my feet. There is a combination of wood chips & pieces of pine bough through most of the walk. The pond is showing signs of colder weather with a thin layer of ice. today has rain in the forecast. So, I was sure to get out early for my walk. As always, I’ve shared a couple photos. As I approached home, I saw a single deer in the middle of the field.
