These are some of the pictures from my last fishing trip. This pandemic has made it pretty nice for fishing long range. This boat is 95\' long and normally would hold 100 anglers but with the pandemic there was a 30 angler maximum but even with that maximum we only had 18 anglers on the trip. The trip I was on was a full day trip (5am-5pm) and we left out of Dana Point Harbor and fished out at Catalina Island on the back side of the island. There was a steady catch of Calico Bass, Bonito, Yellowtail, Barracuda, and Mackerel if you could get them past what we fishermen call the Tax Collector or the Man in the grey suit, the California Sea Lion. Those pesky seals probably took 50\% of the fish that we caught. At the end of the day I ended up with 5 beautiful Calico Bass up to 20\" and I kept a couple Bonito that had some size to them. At the jackpot weigh in I was surprised to see that out of all those Yellowtail caught they were all pretty small and that the leading fish was a Macker
