Got stopped by a train going through our town on today’s walk. Another hot & humid day in Minnesota once again I didn’t meet my goal. I hope to get there by the end of the week.

Didn’t meet my goal for today. Started a bit late and it’s dark out now.. just a sliver of pink sky. It’s rather warm in Minnesota and the heat earlier was not good walking for me.

Out walking today. And decided to walk to our town’s Veterans Memorial Park. So far I have 4 miles in and need to go about another mile to get home.

I walked 3 miles inside of Fort Snelling National Cemetery today placing wreaths on the graves of family friends interred there. The ladies in the picture are my Blue Star Mothers of America sisters. We are all moms of those serving in our armed forces or moms of veterans. We are always honored to participate in Wreaths Across America every year.
