Scraping the jelly from the pot after making a batch is just part of the fun. Making home made dewberry jelly in the dead of winter is more than just a tasty treat. It is literally bringing a taste of summer to the dead of winter. This morning in East Tennessee is was 16 degrees....oh for the days of June and picking dewberries, but in the meantime, we can have the fruits of our labor as a reminder that warmer days will get here.....eventually!
