Hoping your Sabbath was sacred. 🙏🩷☺️
I am pondering Esther 8:22—the Jews rejoiced; and this from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf: It might sound contrary to the wisdom of the world to suggest that one who is burdened with sorrow should give thanks to God. But those who set aside the bottle of bitterness and lift instead the goblet of gratitude can find a purifying drink of healing, peace, and understanding.
Being grateful in times of distress does not mean that we are pleased with our circumstances. It does mean that through the eyes of faith we look beyond our present-day challenges. This is not a gratitude of the lips but of the soul. It is a gratitude that heals the heart and expands the mind. Have a blessed and beautiful Monday my friends. Remember that you are a beloved child of God, our Eternal Father; let Him prevail in your life. He will do wonders! 🙏🩷

Hoping your Saturday was super. I was blessed to serve in The House of the Lord. 🙏🩷☺️
I am pondering Esther 7:3-6—after the king held out the royal sceptre, Esther presented her plea for herself and her people; and this from Sister Barbara W. Winder: With every step she [Esther] must have wondered, “Will he hold out the royal sceptre?” “Will he condemn me to death?” “Will he drop me into poverty and oblivion?” She stood before him, young, beautiful, calm—knowing that she was totally vulnerable. She also knew that she had appealed to God for help and that there was a great moral wrong about to be committed. She had to be responsible to God who made her, no matter what the mortal consequences. Have a blessed and sacred Sabbath my friends. Remember that you are a beloved child of God, our Eternal Father; let Him prevail in your life. He will do wonders! 🙏🩷

Hoping your Friday was fabulous. I was blessed to serve in The House of the Lord. 🙏🩷☺️
I am pondering Esther 6:1-3—the king discovers that Mordecai had saved the king’s life many years ago, and rewards him openly; and this from Elder Dale G. Renlund: When you receive any blessing from God, you can conclude that you have complied with an eternal law governing reception of that blessing. But remember that the “irrevocably decreed” law is time insensitive, meaning blessings come on God’s timetable. Have a blessed and super Saturday my friends. Remember that you are a beloved child of God, our Eternal Father; let Him prevail in your life. He will do wonders! 🙏🩷

Hoping your Thursday was thankful. 🙏🩷☺️
I am pondering Matthew 11:28—Jesus Christ invites all who are weary and heavy laden to come unto Him; and this from Elder Clark G. Gilbert: Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling — Calling for you and for me. Patiently Jesus is waiting and watching — Watching for you and for me! Come home! Come home! Ye who are weary, come home! Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling — Calling, O sinner, come home! (Will L. Thompson, 1880) I witness that Christ is our Redeemer. When we fall short, He repairs the breaches in our lives. The Savior loves all of us and is tenderly calling for you and for me to come home. Come home. Have a blessed and fabulous Friday my friends. Remember that you are a beloved child of God, our Eternal Father; let Him prevail in your life. He will do wonders! 🙏🩷
