Oye!!! Forgetful! Well blew my record keeping thru sloppy recording due to forgetting to turn on or off the exercise monitors. But then the total step records seem to be okay. We\'ll at least my self satisfaction remains intact. Between keeping up with daily activities I\'ve been binging romantic dramas and comedies. Even Luci is getting tired of sitting with me thru those videos and she\'s a dog. Only storylines that include puppies seem to interest any long term interest she has expressed. My good buddy, walking partner, Miss Luci and I got in our usual morning walk before the heat and humidity got too oppressive. Starting the week with a goal of getting the front acres tidy for a planned barbecue to celebrate 20 years at our home. Things have changed over time but the work never ends.

Luci and I were checking out the Santa Fe River and Columbia spring along the River Rise State Preserve the other day. The trails there are well shaded most of the day, save for a few spots in open meadows, or near high noon. The drought has brought the river down at least a foot or more below its usual height this time of year.
