Lately, I’ve been getting back into running, and I had the thought to sign up for a 5K… but almost immediately, doubt tried to creep in. Not just from within, but from outside voices too. “Are you sure?” “You just started back running…” But I realized something… doubt doesn’t get to make my decisions for me. So I signed up anyway. This devotional reminded me that the enemy will always try to plant doubt to keep us stuck, but God has already given us everything we need to move forward. I’m not letting fear stop me. I’m not letting doubt hold me back. I’m choosing to walk in faith and do it anyway. And win or lose, I already have the victory through Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen

Praying and being negative won’t bring answers. Praying and living in fear won’t either. If I’m honest, I’ve been both. I’ve prayed about things while still holding onto fear and doubt. But I’m learning what it really means to trust God fully. That doesn’t mean I never feel fear, but I bring it to God instead of holding onto it. I’ve been asking God to show me the plan, but I’m also learning that I won’t always know every step. That’s where trust comes in. We can’t pray and then doubt Him right after. We have to surrender it and trust Him with it. So today, I’m choosing to trust God with everything, even when I don’t understand. If you’re praying about something, don’t just give it to God. Trust Him with it too!

Ironically, this was my devotional today… and I needed it. I’m not going to lie, I had a moment where I thought, “What if no one joins this group?” But even in that thought, I was reminded that this isn’t just about numbers or who shows up right away. It’s about being obedient to what God placed on my heart. If God gave you the vision, He will give you everything you need to fulfill it. You are capable, no matter where you are in your journey. Things may not always happen on the timeline we imagine, but that doesn’t mean it’s not working. Don’t give up just because it feels slow or hard. Keep going. Keep showing up. Keep having faith. This space was created to grow, physically and spiritually. And whether it’s just me right now or more people join later, I’m going to keep walking in purpose. Expect good things. God is still working💕
