The recent rains have replenished the mountain trails, bringing much-needed water for agriculture and daily life. 🐾 Along the way, I encountered several cats—always a delightful sight! 🐦 It’s the breeding season for the Taiwan Blue Magpie (Urocissa caerulea), also known as the Formosan Blue Magpie. These birds are known for their strong nest defense behaviors and may become aggressive if they perceive a threat near their nesting areas.
