Dress in layers with shoes that can handle wet rocky terrain. The falls are strongest late spring/early summer. There’s a cafe on site that serves tasty lattes (hot only, they don’t have ice) until 4pm. Entering South Falls and going clock wise can be helpful for beginner hikers as the Rim Trail is less rocky and there is much less elevation gain allowing tired legs a break 😅
