#4- Lake Frank Lakeside Loop & Big Pine Trail
1
Length: 5.3 milesEst. Time: 2h5m

This is a really nice trail, mostly easy. Go to the right and save the best for last. The first part by the lake is paved and not that interesting but pretty. Once you leave the lake and walk along the stream, it's nicer. Then you have to go up to the road and hop over a guard rail to get to the other side of the trail but it's worth it because this side is gorgeous. Head away from the lake to take Big Pine Trail, and you'll pass a meadow with clover and lots of butterflies. Lovely, peaceful, but no rest rooms so plan accordingly.
