Best Walking Routes in Edison Trails Park

#1 - Arroyo to Garfield via Edison Trail
1
Length: 4.2 milesEst. Time: 58m

I start at my house on Arroyo Dr. near Potrero Grande, and walk down Ackley to start of trail, but if you only want to walk the trail you can start on Fulton near Ackley across the street from La Loma Park. There are some pretty steep areas and the trail is rough at times. It ends at Edison Park on Garfield where there are bathrooms and a water fountain. There’s also several water fountains along the route. It’s pretty dry most of the year but in the spring it’s gorgeous and there’s some awesome views of the L. A. skyline, the coast, and even Catalina Island!
