Bery nice wetland in a High Desert area of Wyoming! Refreshing with temps at 85° and INTENSE Sol beating down! They’re man-enhanced and were part of the reason this town was named ‘Rock Springs.’ This was a major stop on the Oregon Trail Main Route. The pioneers just finished a two to three month crossing from St. Louis, Missouri. They pulled handcarts, used oxen and mule teams, because horse teams needed too much water crossing the American desert. And lots of dry mountains ahead. 20,000 died.
