A great place for a walk! Even though it looked crowded in the parking lot it wasn’t. There are lots of paths of varying lengths, places you could go off trail if you wanted to, deer tracks, ducks and turtles.

#5- Great Plains Nature Center shorter path

Length: 0.5 milesEst. Time: 11m

This is great if you’re like me and just needed a half mile to finish goal, it’s much more manageable walk but also it’s not as “in nature” as the longer route. If you have kids this is perfect because you’re always pretty close to the entrance/exit in case they can’t last a longer time.
