The park has many amenities including a cafe by the lake, pitch and putt with another cafe, tennis courts and basketball courts, bowling club and just outside the main entrance the Woodman public house. A historic building of local interest with a garden and car parking. The park has numerous tarmac paths to be crisscrossed as well as a path around the lake to pass the cafe. There are also unmarked paths through the woods perfect for dogs and several entrances to the park.
