Challenge Description
Start the new year strong with a month-long walking challenge designed to keep you active—no matter how cold it gets. Throughout January, you’re invited to walk at your own pace, indoors or outdoors, and track your progress along the way. How It Works Walk anytime, anywhere. Enjoy outdoor routes or head to the Christian County YMCA (FREE to all participants) for indoor laps throughout January. Track your miles with the Pacer App. Join the challenge through the app, then log your steps using your phone or by syncing a supported smartwatch. Important: If you don’t have a supported smartwatch, you’ll need to carry your phone with you while walking so the app can accurately track your steps.

Track your progress and compete to see who can cover the most distance.
  • Allowed Activities: Walking, running, hiking and step-based activities. Cycling distance and manual input not allowed.
  • Daily Limit: 160.93 km

Prize
Reach 100 miles and earn a reward. Participants who log 100 miles or more during the month will receive an exclusive Frosty Footsteps T-shirt.

How This Works

  • Get the Pacer app by scanning the QR code with your smart phone.
  • Enter Code tmhwalkingchallenges on app landing page to join our organization.
  • Sign Up with your email.
  • For auto-enrollment challenges, you’ll be added automatically; If you see a Join button on the challenge card, tap it to participate.
  • Connect with your Apple Watch, Fitbit, Samsung Health or Garmin, or simply use your phone to track steps and activities. Open the Pacer app at least once per day to ensure challenge data is up to date.
