We live in a coastal area with a remarkably shallow water table. While our summers are harsh, the monsoon season poses an even greater challenge because the rainwater tends to sit above the soil, leading to heavy waterlogging. Out of the 30 saplings we planted during Season 1 of Digital Footprints, at least 25 successfully made it through the summer heat. Now, I'm deeply anxious about how many will manage to survive the monsoon. In photo: Today's harvest. the long bean and cucumbers were planted during this season of Digital Footprints
